Saw V

I will say straight away that I did not like Saw or Saw II . This is one of those few franchises where something quite interesting has happened. They have woven such a complex story that questions everything you have seem previously and this film is no exception. It fits perfectly after the fourth installment. My main quibble would be poor dialog and to steal a Roger Ebert saying a number of "Clang" moments, but otherwise for a fifth movie this is much better than it should be and only leaves the pathway for Saw VI wide open...

OK I will admit this was better than I was expecting, it is by no means a masterpiece and watching it in 2D with all the silly 3D gimmicks is a bit odd, but it was better than the Mummy 3 (although lets be honest...a root canal is better than that film)
