I wanna know about these strangers...

There are so many movies about pointless and indiscriminate violence that claim to be based on true stories that you could create a new genre just for them. The Strangers offers nothing new, it simply wanders from horror movie cliche to cliche.."you stay here, I'm going to the barn because there is an old radio there". Every action of the lead characters distracts you simply by how stupid they are. This kind of scary has been done to death, no pun intended....read previous post for more insight.
